January 13, 2012: Our second fieldtrip for the year has now been scheduled. We will accompany Ms. Slater's class to the Wapsi River Environmental Center, on Thursday, January 26th. We will leave around 9:00 A.M. and return to Pleasant View at approximately 2:30 P.M. The students will be in small groups and move to four stations of learning. Students will cross country ski, snow shoe, and listen to lectures on birds of prey and reptiles and amphibians. Students get an opportunity to handle the reptiles. Students are encouraged to wear several layers of warm clothing. They will also need to pack a sack lunch and drink. It will be a fun day! Mr. Mark Wilson
